Member, MDRTMichael A. Colello is a Knights of Columbus Assistant General Agent with the Ruffo Agency, serving brother Knights and their families in Rhode Island. Mike has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for nearly seventeen years, and became a Field Agent for the Order in November of 2019.
When asked why he became a Field Agent, Mike said, “I believe in a “hands-on, hands-held” approach to helping individuals and their families make informed decisions. The Knights paired ideally with my desire to work with an organization whose values are the same as mine. I am happy to have frequent contact with clients, speaking with them on a regular basis. Open communication and timely problem solving is key in making great financial decisions.”
Originally from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Mike earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Philosophy from Providence College in 1997. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in STB Theology from Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 2001.

Michael is not just a salesman, he is a gentleman with compassion.
